Thoughts about "Neighbours" - December 2019

Below is my December entry about "Neighbours" for 2019.

Ned's involvement in the fight club ended as the leaders were caught. Bea was willing to fight, but it didn't happen to help Ned. Yashvi called the cops, and everyone was sent away to prison so the story ended. Between this and Yashvi helping Olivia during the Erinsborough High spinoff, V has decided to go to the police academy leaving Lassiter's, Kirsha also came to visit over the holidays. Ned and Yashvi got back together by the end of the year.

David got an infection and needed a new kidney right away. Harlow and Roxy went to see Harlow's Dad Robert in prison. Robert was a match, and agreed to give a kidney if he got better treatment in prison. Paul was horrified, but wanted David to live. Robert escaped from the hospital, and held Elly hostage. Elly had her daughter Aster, she was born in Karl and Susan's home with Finn's help as they were too scared to leave due to Robert. Harlow convinced Robert to turn himself in, and he did give his kidney to David.

Amy and Kyle's relationship got worse, and they broke up. Amy decided to move to the US to be closer to her son Jimmy. Jimmy came back to Erinsborough because his American girlfriend was in an abusive household. The lawsuit ended, so Kyle had more time, and with the settlement Toadie has enough money to keep the charity going.

Hendrix was upset over Chloe and Pierce getting married. Chloe and Pierce wed first in Erinsborough on camera and then off camera so she could be with her mum, and other brothers. Hendrix moved into the Kennedy house because he can't live with his crush as his stepmother.

Those were the highlights of December 2019. There was some action this month with the wedding and the birth of Aster, but I wonder how much of what we are seeing now is set-up for their anniversary month of March.
