Primetime TV Update: February 2018

Below is what I spent most of February 2018 watching.

February was very much a month for reality shows.

The only non-reality shows I completed were "The Olympics" which is sports, so doesn't count, "The Wall" which is a game show, which I define separately from reality and "The Good Place" - season two. The end of "The Good Place" left possibilities for season three with yet another reboot. The Wall's run started in December, and went through until before the Olympics, with both big wins and non, which is the one thing that can happen on that series.

On CBS, "The Amazing Race" ended in February, and it was nice to see a group of people being competitive without outright hatred. "Celebrity Big Brother" was CBS's counter-programming to the Olympics, three weeks and a group of somewhat famous people as contestants. I say "somewhat" because due to ones age or interests they may not have heard of everyone in the cast.

On Fox, the regular version of Hell's Kitchen (but with returning contestants) ended in February. Nearly every week people got sent home, and there were a lot of arguments. Best part was the "fake" awards show.

On NBC, I watched "Better Late the Never", which is basically let's watch famous old guys and a comedian go to other countries and not get recognized. This time the men were in Europe and Northern Africa.

On Universal Kids, I finished "Top Chef Junior", which is the kid version of Top Chef. I haven't watched a full season of TC in years, but this was fun. (Also didn't hurt that they showed episodes numerous times during the week.)

Happy viewing. It will be interesting to see what I end up seeing in March 2018.
