Thoughts about "Hollyoaks" - August 2019

Below are my thoughts on August 2019's "Hollyoaks" - this is not sequential.

Levi was really and truly gone, and had a job in Manchester. Scott was cheered up by Mitchell, who seems to like Scott's alter ego Anita.

The music festival happened early in the month. Imran, Juliet, Brooke, and Oliver went along with Sami, Sinead, Lisa and Cleo though the older characters really didn't spend time with the teens. Juliet stole Brooke's money, messing up their friendship. Brooke started feeling awful, someone suggested she could be pregnant, and at home took a test. She hasn't told Oliver the truth yet, though Oliver has been bonding with his younger brother. Lisa and Cleo had a great time, while Sami and Sinead kissed. Things went crazy, as the prison bus with Laurie and Finn got into an accident. Laurie escaped, found Sinead who had just fought with Sami, and tried to get her again. Laurie died from injuries sustained in the crash before hurting Sinead again. Sinead and Sami though weren't allowed to be happy, as they dated, but broke up due to Ste's extreme right friends. Ste found out the other gay guy in the group was spying for the police, and Ste shared this with Johnny and Stuart.

Tom continued running his summer camp. Hunter and Peri started dating, but Hunter realized he wanted to have a bigger and brighter future. He left town and Goldie was depressed.
 
Cleo decided to go back to school and become a nurse, as did Peri. Goldie and Joel's relationship was discovered and Breda attacked Joel, but was not successful in killing him.

Maxine had a living funeral "a party where everyone could share how much she means to her before she dies though she isn't actually terminal. To keep Sienna away, she wanted to send Sienna and Brody on a trip out of the country. Damon using the money from Maxine's health account was discovered and he was arrested. Maxine thought about telling the truth, but couldn't do it now after Sienna finally got her to change her mind as that was key to James' defense. Sienna and Brody discussed surrogacy and Liberty offered to donate her womb.

Harry's body is still missing, but Louis was found in the water in front of the Love Boat. Jack was fishing, and snagged the body. Lisa was devastated obviously, especially since her mother and brother didn't come home for the memorial. Lisa also was upset that she didn't have her father's ring, which Breda gifted to Jack. 

Tony became suspicious of Breda and Silver, and Breda attacked Tony with a knife as he knew Breda killed Harry. He is now missing and presumed dead. Luke surprised everyone when he cam to the door, as he was out of prison.

Those were the highlights for Hollyoaks in August 2019. Laurie is truly dead, which is great, but Tony's has to be a fake out or else there will be a lot of sad viewers and residents of the village.
