CBS Daytime Change

The news came out on September 5, 2019, that Angelica McDaniel is out at CBS Daytime, as the division's programming will be part of the larger department.

Deadline broke the news and stated that the EVP of Daytime Programming role is being eliminated as the network is being restructured. Amy Reisenbach who is the head of the Current Programming department will be in charge now for CBS for their soaps ("The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless"), their game shows, ("The Price is Right" and Let's Make a Deal") and talk show ("The Talk"). Soaps in Depth posted a link to Ms. McDaniel's Instagram and some other comments on the news.

My feeling was I am not surprised that this happened, just because ABC eliminated their daytime division with some shows falling under the news department, and "General Hospital" under entertainment, and NBC hasn't had an official daytime department for even longer, with only "Days of Our Lives" and "Today" in their daypart.
