General Hospital's Carly and Sonny had another wedding ceremony on the August 26, 2019 episode. This was just for fun, as no paperwork was drawn and no one officiated. Below are my thoughts.
So this wedding was about them being a family. And only a few people were there. Bobbie brought Mike, who didn't realize that Sonny was at his own "wedding" until seeing the pictures. Carly and Sonny's living and in town kids were there: Michael, Kristina, Joss, and Avery. Sam and Jason were the only non-blood relatives in the room, other than Dev (the fake Corbin cousin) and Jason and Sam both weren't completely wearing black. That was a nice surprise.
Avery had the best moments, if they wrote this solely for a little girl to be cute, I wouldn't blame them. Avery wanted the bridal bouquet, but Sonny held her so that wouldn't happen. Kristina wanted Sam to catch it, but everyone went away from it, and Bobbie did. Then there was a joke about Scott asking her. During the ceremony, Avery asked who Caroline and Michael were...ha.
Maybe this wedding was supposed to be a happy moment before things get complicated again, but we'll see.
