The twenty-second episode of Inside Salem Days of Our Lives podcast aired this week. Below is a quick summary and thoughts.
This
episode had an interview with Eric Martsolf (Brady), clips of the week (Brady having sex with Kristen as Nicole, and Kristen as Nicole fighting with Gabi) and Galen Gering (Rafe) in his dressing room with Camila Banus (Gabi).
The interview with Eric had him talk about how he just has fun with the outrageous stories, and that due to his time on Passions, they know he will play anything without comment/annoyance. (This is a good thing for the writers'/the powers that be, but l I like it when an actors' opinion shines through...it adds yet another element to the performance, sometimes for good and other times not, and I'm sorry we all have things we like more or less.) He also talked about the "love" that Stacy Haiduk and Ari Zuker have for one another, a mutual admiration society that developed in the process of them sharing the role of Nicole.
The part with Galen and Camila started with Galen describing way too many things in his dressing room, as we couldn't see any of it. Camila saying her name, and realizing people have been pronouncing it wrong for years, had me shaking my head. Galen and Camila spoke about his fake head created from his time at Passions, and how she drew something for his dressing room that he framed. At one time, this room in the basement (along with other things) flooded, and I felt sorry for all that damage. Hope insurance paid to fix things again.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
