On "The Bold and the Beautiful", Hope (Annika Nicole) and Liam (Scott Clifton) got married again. Below are my thoughts on the three episodes that aired August 20-22, 2018.
Liam had chosen to be with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but once Hope was revealed to be pregnant he was torn. He decided to stick with his pregnant ex instead of the one who recently had his child, as Steffy pushed him away.
Hope and Steffy wanted their lives to be different than that of their mothers' Brooke and Taylor respectively, who fought over Ridge for years. The women wanted to work together and be a family without resentment. For the wedding, Hope's family was there, as both her sister Bridget and aunt Donna arrived. Rick was still in Europe. Hope decided to wear the gown that she had on at the wedding that didn't happen, and Wyatt stood up for Liam. Bill was not invited to the wedding, but even the Hope for the Future interns got to go.
During the ceremony everyone spoke about their wishes for the couple. Though it was awkward as Steffy took Taylor with her. Taylor stayed calm during the event, but at the reception Brooke and Taylor destroyed the cake in the kitchen. Liam was glad that while the food was ruined, the ceremony was not.
I didn't really need another food fight, but since the event was three days something had to happen. We'll see how long Hope and Liam's marriage lasts this time around.
