Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) returned to Salem this week as her conviction was overturned. She was able to leave prison and reunite with her daughter.
I'm glad that Gabi is back in town, though I wonder why. Yes it is great she is back with little baby Ari, but she caused a lot of pain. Will any of it be discussed? Since Melanie is out of town completely maybe some of it will be forgotten as the people in Salem seemed more upset about how she ended up being responsible for Melanie being kidnapped. Her murdering Nick was less of an issue to most, as he had become so control. Julie was pretty much the only person who mourned him. Also I wonder if people will start calling Abby, Abigail again as the character was seldom called Abby when Gabi was on screen. That being said, I'm glad that Will (Guy Wilson) has someone to talk to that isn't Marlena. It feels like Rafe (Galen Gering) is getting more screen time, so having his sister there makes sensetoo. I just hope she isn't in town to become a victim of the murderer. It would be cool if the character got a hopeful ending.
