Family Feud: Naughty Versus Nice 2005

When I was searching YouTube.com I found an episode of Family Feud with soap stars from 2005, which was posted in two parts (Part One & Part Two). Richard Karn was the host at this time. This episode had stars from The Young & the Restless, The Bold & the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital, which are still the west coast based shows. This entry gives away who wins this episode.

The show was set up with face-offs of actors whose characters were rivals: one good and one bad. They were announced in this order. Y&R: Jess Walton (Jill) versus Doug Davidson (Paul), Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) versus Tracy Bregman (Lauren), B&B: Ronn Moss (Ridge) versus Lorenzo Lamas (Hector), Days: Lauren Koslow (Kate) versus Austin Peck (Austin) and GH: Jane Elliot (Tracy) versus Scott Clifton (Dillon). I thought it was funny that the Days and GH competitors were on-screen mothers and sons.

The Naughty team played for the Grief Recovery Institute (Jess's charity), and they had a book called "When Children Grieve" that they donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina). The Nice team played for the California Legends Soccer Club (Doug's charity), which is a charity for kids to enjoy the sport.

They were asked the following questions.

Name a place where a cheap date may take you?

Something you need to make a perfect margarita?

Something you can't do without your lips?

What is the easiest pet to take care of?

The naughty team ended up winning with a steal on the triple points question.

Jane and Jess played big money. The funniest answer was when Jane misunderstood and said the most entertaining award show was the Family Feud. What I liked was how Jane didn't yell the 20,000, but mouthed it so you couldn't hear it. One of  my pet peeves with the later versions of the Family Feud is how they expect the contestants to yell about money they have yet to win. If someone gets overly excited, it could make it harder for them to win.  Jane got 149 points, while Jess got the rest of the points needed.

This episode was pretty decent as it wasn't a blowout, by either team. I also appreciated that the actors were all familiar and other than Lorenzo Lamas were in daytime for many years. Actually out of the ten actors shown in this episode only three aren't currently on a daytime soap, (Austin Peck, Kimberlin Brown and Lorenzo Lamas), and of course Scott Clifton is on B&B now instead of GH.
