Soaps in Depth (Print Edition) Discontinued

The news came out today, that ABC and CBS Soaps in Depth have been discontinued. The magazine title will continue on as a website, but the hard copies will no longer be printed.

Soaps in Depth began as three magazines (one for each of the networks) in 1997. The NBC edition folded in 1999, and then the ABC and CBS editions alternated by week after that. It was a relative to the late Soap Opera Update as well. I feel for the people who lost their jobs over the cancellation of the hard copy edition.
