On Days of Our Lives, two couples wed, not for love, but for a company during the last week of July 2019. Below are my thoughts on this development.
Stefan married Gabi, as he would be losing his position running the company due to the kidnapping charges against him. Gabi made believe she was on Stefan's side and tried to keep him out of jail. Gabi came up with the idea, as she felt this would be the way to get revenge. Her hope was the board would give her the presidency as the leader of the company has to be a Dimera Enterprises. Ben and Ciara were witnesses and Abe officiated.
Meanwhile Kristen, as Nicole, realized that the only way she could run the company is if she married someone in the family, even though she is family. Kristen laid the groundwork as Nicole to Brady about how she was rescued by a Dimera, though she wasn't sure if it was Andre or Tony. They went to find the man, and it was Tony due to the photograph of Anna in his room. Tony didn't want to marry his adopted sister, but was stuck. It was to be for convince. Brady got a justice of the peace for them.
Gabi was given the reigns of Dimera Enterprises if she cut Stefan out, which she would. So now we'll see if Gabi's plan works long term or who else will throw their hat for the job.
