The fourteenth episode of Inside Salem premiered this past weekend. Below are my thoughts.
The fourteenth episode was a Daytime Emmy's special. The first part was an interview with Greg Vaughn (Eric) who won for supporting actor, the second was a round table with nominees for the awards this year Linsey Godfrey (Sarah), Victoria Konefal (Ciara), Eric Martsolf (Brady) and Kassie DePaiva (Eve). There were also best of the week clips and previews.
Greg's interview spoke about how he doesn't really do action, his Emmy win, and working with Ari Zucker (Nicole) and how Linsey Godfrey got the role of Sarah (even though some of his female friends who he worked with previously also auditioned.)
The Emmy Rountable included clips of the reels that the actors gave. They also shared about how the younger performers have to give a ten minute reel (four episodes) in the first round, while the other categories they only get four minutes (two episodes).
It made me very happy that we got an idea of what was submitted. I wish the nominees the best of luck.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
