The eighth episode of Inside Salem premiered this weekend. Below are my thoughts.
The eighth
episode had an interview with Judith Chapman (Diana) and
the best scenes of
the week (with Stefan and Gabi and Leo and Diana). The second portion was an interview
with John Aniston (Victor) and Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) talking together.
The Judith Chapman interview with Michael Fairman spoke about her career in general and a bit about Days. That said I would have enjoyed a deep dive, as her time in soaps started before mine did, so I don't have a huge background in her daytime history as most of it has been lost or is hiding in storage (prior to her run on Days and later the Young and the Restless).
The second part with John and Suzanne also had some present day and past talk. I appreciated how randomly they spoke about cue cards, and how Susan Flannery was extremely talented with them. Random references to long departed from Days actors, who have retired from the industry are always appreciated. Glad that it wasn't cut out of the edit.
I think this episode was more for the people listening who are interested in things not so present with the program. I don't know how or why that happened, but no complaints.
