Thoughts about "Neighbours" - November 2018

Below is my November entry about "Neighbours" for 2018.
Pierce left Erinsborough, though he still liked Chloe. She admitted her Huntington's diagnosis, to push him away. Terese also considered sleeping with Pierce to get his help to topple Paul. This didn't happen, and Paul is still at Lassisters.

Gary lost his job at the flametree, as Paul shared all of Gary's bad behavior with Steph over the phone. We found out from Gary that he was out of work, but Amy was sticking by him. Amy, Terese, and Leo plotted to unit Jane and Paul. Jane was invited back to town due to the face of Lassiters. They told Paul that no other rooms were available so Jane should stay in Paul's penthouse. Since David got married and moved in the Brennan house, Gary moved Amy back into his home, and Leo lives with Terese there was space. Paul figured it out, but didn't tell Jane.

Finn was pushed over a cliff, by Susan, after he started attacking Bea. Finn had stole Bea's therapist records, which upset her. Elly and Xanthe, who had both been victimized by Finn, saw what Susan did. At the school, a canister left by Finn opened, and many of the students including Kirsha ended up in the hospital. The ladies all kept Susan's secret, but Susan couldn't live with herself and confessed. She was suspended from her job as principal. Since Jane was back in town, Jane was given Susan's job. Elly and Jane didn't get along, as Jane thought Elly's clothing was not professional enough for the classroom, and Elly was upset that she wasn't interim principal.

Piper wasn't pregnant, and she was busy with her job. She was helping Toadie locate Andrea's mother, as no one knew that Alice was Andrea's mother. Alice is not a good person, as she gave Nell food poisoning to keep her job, and was drugging Sonya. She wanted Sonya to become addicted to codeine, and then go through withdrawal, so everyone thought she was using again. Alice drugged things that Sonya was eating like tea and cookies. Dipi and Shane realized Sonya was in trouble, but haven't done anything. When Toadie received information on Andrea's mother, Piper went to the office. Alice followed Piper in, injured her, trashed the place, and took the document. Alice has been telling Hugo what she's been doing, and destroyed Lyra (the Siri like assistant).

Yashvi didn't do well on her exams and knew she wouldn't get into college. She failed at her Aussie rules try-out, and felt she had no direction. Yashvi decided she wanted to be successful in the same way as Chloe. Chloe was horrified over this, and couldn't believe that Yashvi following her to a sauna she shared with Pierce. To keep Yashvi from doing what she was doing, Chloe gave her some jewelry that Pierce gave as a present. This is how Paul figured out what was going on, as Yashvi followed Alice's advice, about selling the jewelry for money from someone who wouldn't ask questions, and that was Paul. Paul then found out about Pierce, and Chloe, and how Terese knew and kept it secret.

The end of the month, showed Chloe finally sharing that she has the Huntington's gene. She only told the truth, as David and Aaron talked about having a kid, with Aaron being the donor. Chloe didn't want the gene to be passed on. Chloe was getting closer to Elly, but talk about the illness with anyone other than Karl who just return to Australia. Mark decided to be tested, but Aaron didn't want to know. Chloe gave the excuse of not saying anything when Tyler was around, as their mother wasn't ailing, so it must be from their father, and since Tyler has a different biological dad this was not an issue.

Bea and Ben finally decided to be together. Bea shared her diary with Ben, marking the pages he should read about their relationship. We saw her words, and heard her voice. Then upon finishing what she wrote, Bea and Ben kissed.

Those were the highlights of November 2018. Having Susan push Finn was a bit of a surprise, as I expected them to all do that together. I hope that before the end of the year that Alice is caught.
