Thoughts about "Neighbours" - October 2018

Below is my October entry about "Neighbours" for 2018.

Amy and Gary started dating, and Paul wasn't happy about it. Paul would have preferred if she had continued to date Rob instead of being in a relationship with a much older man. Leo and Terese's relationship came out as well. Paul was angry about his son being with his ex. Paul had a bad month, and fired Leo. He also wanted Terese out at Lassister's and tried to get Pierce to help him. Chloe, who slept with Pierce, and received gifts from him, spoke to Pierce. He decided to listen to Terese's side and then chose not to support Paul.

Cassius was caught for killing Hamish. Tyler was freed with time served for his assault of Hamish prior to Cassius finishing their father off. Tyler came back to Erinsborough, but things were too difficult and he decided to move away closer to his mother. Tyler and Piper still love one another, but too much had happened. Piper thought Tyler got Cassius beat up in prison, but it was actually Ben who mentioned it to a friend. This situation upset Bea, and she said his past was too much for her to handle, so she would not date him. Piper also feared that she was pregnant, and Xanthe pushed her.

Pavan and Mishti got back together, and he got a job offer in another part of Australia. They planned to get married, and Mishti left Erinsborough. Dipi was sad to see her sister go.

Toadie and Sonya came back due to Toadie being Tyler's lawyer. There is another person trying to hurt their marriage Alice. She's Andrea's mother and wants to fix things for her daughter. She ingratiated herself and has moved in to be a nanny to Nell and baby Hugo. Alice played a game with Nell on Halloween, and told if the girl hid, she'd get more sweets. Nell followed those instructions, and Sonya freaked out that her daughter was missing in her bee costume. Thankfully Nell missed seeing Terese and Leo being frisky.

Mark still doesn't have another job, and he and Elly were stable in their relationship. They mainly provided support for everyone else this month like Tyler. Susan was on a little bit, but Karl was away visiting with his sister Jemima.

Those were the highlights of October 2018. I'm not really liking the whole Piper may be pregnant arc, and why did Chloe not admit to having the Huntington's gene yet. Wouldn't it make sense to do that plot while Tyler was around.
