Thoughts about "Neighbours" - August 2018

Below is my August entry about "Neighbours" for 2018.
Liz left in shame, once everything she did was revealed (lying about Finn attacking her.) At least Bea and Elly were getting along better, and Finn was away from Erinsborough. Xanthe thought she was being stalked, but it was an insurance adjuster. She is getting over 200,000 in damages over what happened. Gary stole some hot money, but now with the insurance, he may end up being okay.

Terese went away due to Leo's feelings and visited Imogen and Daniel in America. Chloe found out that she has the Huntington's disease gene, which she inherited from either her mother or father. She hasn't told anyone what is going on, and Karl being her doctor cannot share this information.

Baby Hugo had a naming day, and his "fish" name is Sunfish or Sonny for short. This happened after Sonya felt neglected in the baby's life as Toadie forgot to give her name to pick the boy up from care. It was also mentioned that it was about a year since baby Kaitlin died.

The musical didn't happen except in the backyard, so we only saw excerpts due to the situation with the Rebeccis and Lassiters including Shane's lies. Kirsha's situation with Marisa was resolved, and Marisa got her job back. Mishti started dating on an arranged marriage site that was found due to a debate that Yashvi and Xanthe had in school. Dipi was horrified by this, but Leo was supportive. He said she should pick someone based on personality not looks, and we met Devan, who Mishti had one good date with already. Dipi helped Clive, who was having performance issues with Sheila, without telling Sheila what she did.

Elly was surprised and at first upset over Ben and Bea being friends. She then understood why Bea needed support at night due to her sleeping issues. Bea was also getting help for her dyslexia, which Finn first noted. Ben and Leo discussed Leo's feelings for Terese, and Leo made Terese uncomfortable.

Karl and Susan went on a search for Karl's half-brother, and weren't there for Aaron and David's pre-wedding celebrations. During their engagement event, David discovered how Paul's changes to the Shed caused Aaron's back problems to resurface. David reconsidered having Paul walk him down the aisle, though he eventually changed his mind. Earlier in the month, Mishti had sold her silent partnership to Paul, and Paul advised to cut an employee, and lower the hours of the rest.

Cassius was revealed to not be a gardener, and Tyler's half-brother. He murdered Hamish, and no one knows this except his mother. Piper met her, and they liked one another, but she didn't know it was Cass's mom.

Those were the highlights of August 2018. At least we know why Cassius is in Erinsborough. I just hope that Piper can cope with this news, and Tyler is freed.
