Thoughts about "Hollyoaks" - June 2018

Here is my rundown post of what's happened on "Hollyoaks" in June 2018. This is not sequential.

Luke is still a mess, everyone now knows Mandy cheated, but no one knows it was Darren. Ollie and Imran tried to get alcohol and were caught. Buster continued to groom Ollie. Imran continued to abuse Misbah, and eventually Yasmine saw what he was doing, and was horrified.

Zack is back, and Maxine is believing Glenn's lies about Adam's death. Louis got a job offer, and wanted Leela to come along with him to Asia. Maxine and Glenn kissed, and Grace found out about how Adam cheated on Max with Roxy, not Glenn. Jesse was so upset he wasn't working, and Courtney wanted to help him.

Alfie went into care for his mental issues, and he had a special focused episode. The only person he listened to was Cindy, as Alfie blamed Cindy for his mental issues, as he inherited them from her. The rest of the family was trying to keep Cindy away. Holly and Damon were on and off, there was an accidental proposal, as Holly wanted to instead tell him that she wanted to continue with school. Cindy and Damon are still lying to Holly about their one-night-relationship.

Milo is finally out of the house, as his tracking of Holly was discovered. Cindy was glad he was gone, but at least before all of this happened Milo was able to convince Holly that Dirk had not looked at her sex vid online.

Nico returned, heavily pregnant, but by the end of the month, she died again. She had her baby (named Victoria), the father was unknown. Sienna gave the child to Joel to care for, and when Nico attacked her and Leela, they killed her. Sienna took the blame for what happened. Earlier, when Sienna was watching Nico, she first attempted to kill Harley at Harley's birthday party, but Sienna caught her. At this party, with guests who didn't even know Harley, Prince went to sell drugs, while Lily stayed home unknowing. Hunter got high on laughing gas, and with the antidepressants he was taking due to his heartbreak, he ended up in the hospital. Leela forced Harley and Peri to get jobs, and they were working at the pop-up cinema that Brody and Damon created. They were showing "The Italian Job", on Cleo's recommendation, and the girls were in old-fashioned waitress costumes. Nico arrived and held Harley and Peri hostage, based on Nico's jealousy.

Tegan decided to come home from the hospital, after Rose visited her. DeeDee wasn't getting any better and was still ailing. Peri and Harley had been living at the Lomax house, and started sleeping together and Leela had no idea. Harley decided to leave, because she couldn't admit to Peri about her past using her body to survive. Peri wanted Harley to return, and probably wouldn't care.

Kyle went missing, after a fight with James. James was then arrested for Kyle's murder, even though the person who was hurt, was James. He has no idea that Sami was behind this. Kyle realized James loved him, but thought that James always chose Harry.

Goldie's half-brother Sylver came to town, as did her mother Breda. Breda made Goldie take Sylver into the house, even though Sylver was just out of prison for murdering her father. Initially Goldie had try to pay off Sylver, so he would find another home.

Kim has no idea that Farrah developed feelings for Grace, while Kim was missing. Kim and Farrah also are unaware of Imran's behavior.


Those are the highlights on Hollyoaks for June 2018. Some loose ends and others began. The episode with Alfie was a good, but difficult watch.
