Thoughts about "Neighbours" - February 2018

Below is my February entry about "Neighbours" for 2018.

Karl and Susan were back in town, but Izzy returned to cause them trouble. While Holly was a sweet person who loved her mother, she couldn't make her behave. In the time Izzy was away, she fell in love with a much older man, and his wealth was left to her. She decided to use that money to sure up the legacy of the Kennedy name, by getting naming rights to the hospital. Izzy then said if you don't give a donation, so I can have another child (making a full sibling for Holly), I won't donate the money. Susan was upset that Karl even would consider doing this, and their marriage is now in trouble.

Sonya and Nell weren't in Erinsborough for Toadie's 21st belated birthday party though Stu, Lance, and Stonie appeared for the 90s themed event. They dressed up as the Teletubbies (though the costumes weren't 100% correct.) This was part of the special long episode, which also saw Tyler and Piper on the run. He wanted to go without her, but she tried to keep up with him. Tyler got caught while after saving her life. He cut his hair, and Xanthe and Ben used their costumes at Toadie's party.

Sheila and Clive began to date again, and spent the night together. This was after Shane and Sheila went to night school. After Shane got an outstanding science score, Sheila thought he was cheating, as he could use his laptop due to his injured hand.

Jimmy has a crush on Kirsha, while Yashvi felt lost about work experience. When she kicked an Aussie Football very far, Toadie thought that could be a possibility for her. She had tried to train at the Shed and it was a disaster.

Amy couldn't handle being celibate anymore and slept with Wayne. He wanted to date her, but she pushed him away. Elly couldn't stop Tia from harassing Kirsha and felt horribly about it as a teacher.

Rafael liked David before he discovered that Paul was his father. He decided to date David anyway though it maybe to get back at Paul (due to his mother's death).


Tyler ended up in prison for 10 years, he got transferred to Adelaide to keep his family safe. Thankfully his mother lives there, though she had tried to keep Tyler out of jail. He and Piper didn't get a goodbye as he kept her off his visiting list.

Jack and Paige had sex the night of Toadie's party. Steph found out and couldn't handle it. Later Mark found out too, and both couples broke up over it. Part of this was at the camping trip that both couples collectively won.

Those were the highlights of February 2018, and the departures began with Travis Burns (Tyler) leaving town in an unhappy fashion. Hopefully the other departures are not as sad.
