B&B: Bill's Shooting

This week, Bill's (Don Diamont) shooter was revealed on "The Bold and the Beautiful" unless there is a major twist. Below are my thought on this development.

Liam (Scott Clifton) was the culprit. He saw his father proposed to his estranged wife Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), as he arrived early to the beach house. He didn't confront his father then, but freaked out, and eventually came to his father's home, found the gun, and shot him in the back. Bill is lying about who did it, as he couldn't see the perpetrator. Due to Liam's earlier mental issues (untreated amnesia from a concussion) perhaps he can get away with this crime.

Honestly I'm not sure what I  think about this development. It is a surprise in one way, but not in another. Surprising because most soaps don't make their "heroes" commit crimes, but not because if they used a character with less airtime, then it would make for a quick resolution. The only thing that Liam's behavior does is perhaps allow him to forgive Bill, as well sleeping with your daughter-in-law is bad, but shooting your father is worse.
