Thoughts about "Hollyoaks" - January 2018

Here is my rundown post of what's happened on "Hollyoaks" in January 2018. This is not sequential.

Maggie died with her boys singing and having fun together. Scott considered helping his mum commit suicide, but was stopped. He also helped Brody and Damon make peace with one another, so they could be together in joy and later grief.

Tegan discovered everything and ended up in a coma due to Ryan. She's still in the hospital, though the walls are closing in on Ryan. Ste has no idea what happened, but thinks Tegan drunk herself into a stupor, due to him and Ryan.

Darcy got caught before she was able to steal about of Tom's money. Maxine moved out of the Osbourne's home, after Jack took Darcy's side. Darcy also tried to seduce Jack. Tom decided to give some of his money as an investor for the restaurant project that Luke, Mandy, Tony and the others are involved in, and considering everyone once raised him it made sense.

Mandy and Luke got married, but it wasn't legal. Luke's son arrived, and Mandy was upset. That night, Darren and Mandy were together, as Nancy couldn't deal with Darren lying again. Luke wanted to stay with Mandy, and she left a voicemail on his phone about cheating that he didn't hear.

Dirk was back and trying to make it up to Cindy. Cindy lied that she slept with Milo, but that didn't last for long. Then Cindy actually slept with Glen. Grace found out that Glen cheated, and went after Ellie, but Cindy then admitted it was her. Glen is emotionally abusing Grace, and she isn't listening to anyone. He couldn't even accept that she wanted her son to know about his late father Trevor. Grace had Jesse drive a shipment of drugs, not knowing they were such, and now he may go back to prison.

Early in the month there was a car accident, the Maliks were in one vehicle, while Diane and Tony were in the other. Harry was in the boot, trying to escape prosecution, though the audience knows he isn't Amy's killer. Diane was seriously injured, but everyone else was only barely hurt. Yasmin was chosen over Imran, who was nearly hit, and he resented their mother.

Lily and Prince thought about eloping together to America, but Peri's "pregnancy" was revealed. She actually only had an infection that caused a false positive. Now Peri moved in with the MacQueens, as she feels that Leela doesn't care about her.

Those are the highlights on Hollyoaks for January 2018.
