"Days of Our Lives" won't be on Thursday, June 8 or Friday, June 9, 2017. These were previously scheduled pre-emptions.
Since NBC lost Wimbledon and picked up the French Open, the Days episodes preempted by tennis come earlier in the year. (This year there are three, the first was Memorial Day, with the others this week. Due to the James Comey Senate testimony, NBCSN will be airing the French Open on Thursday until hearing is over instead of NBC. Then depending on the time it will switch back to broadcast television.
Until we know exactly what will happen with ABC and CBS, I am not posting a preemption post about those shows. If the hearing runs long, as it begins at 10 am ET, the other soaps may not be on, but we'll see what they decide.
