In frustrating soap opera news, the UK soaps "Coronation Street" and "Hollyoaks" are no longer getting updated episodes on Hulu.
Coronation Street from ITV has 848 episodes available on Hulu from December 10, 2012 through March 28, 2016. According to their site as of April 7, no new episodes will be posted.
Hollyoaks from Channel 4 has 575 episodes available on Hulu from December 31, 2013 through March 18, 2016. According to their site as of April 7, no new episodes will be posted.
This news is frustrating for obvious reasons. People become interested in shows, and if there is no longer an easy way to watch it becomes annoying. The time of year of the end and the episode count surprise me. (The dropping of Neighbours at least was after exactly a year.) I hope everyone who is interested finds a way to keep up with the programs.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
