Thoughts about "Queens of Drama" - Episode 8

Here is a live blog summary and my brief thoughts about episode seven of "Queens of Drama". The title of episode seven is "She Set Me Up" and stated by Hunter Tylo.

Lindsay Hartley was woken up by her boyfriend Jason-Shane Scott. She doesn't want to have a long distance relationship and plans to move to New York to be with him. Jason decided to sacrifice his acting opportunity to say in Los Angeles.

Lindsay and Chrystee Pharris are scouting a location for a school. Chrystee is upset over how she only has three lines in the entire sizzle reel and shares this with Lindsay. She doesn't want to be a sidekick.

Crystal Hunt and Lindsay go to look at jewelry for the sizzle reel. Lindsay says how Crystal is completely different now and they are actually friendly. They talk about Donna Mills and how she is seldom there for events. Lindsay and Crystal wonder if she doesn't want to be a team player.

Hunter and Chrystee are looking at clothes Hunter pulled from St. Johns. Chrystee is horrified as she feels they are too 80s. They belong on shows like "Falcon Crest" and "Dynasty". The other actresses think they are "wrong". Hunter shares how it is $75,000 clothes in each section, but the rest of the ladies want to wear their own outfits. Donna and Hunter talk by themselves and Hunter relents. She feels like Donna wanted her to fail. Hunter feels like the others are conspiring against her as Donna complimented Crystal's choices.

Pasha Birman is the director of photography for the sizzle reel. They are each doing a few words as character ids. Each Donna's character is Eleanor. Crystal plays Jenny who works at the school, so her kid can go there. Lindsay is playing Charlotte, the dominatrix. Chrystee is playing Hannah, who wants it all, and had a kid via artificial insemination. She is having problems getting a clean take. Hunter is Lisa, who is a therapist that isn't a fan of secrets. Crystal is impressed with Huner's performance. The episode ended with Hunter falling to the ground dislocating her elbow and hip. The other ladies had no idea what was going on and an ambulance was called.

Those are the highlights of episode eight. Next week the last two episodes will be airing.
