B&B: 6 Random Thoughts (New CEO Edition)

The Bold & the Beautiful had yet another battle for the role of CEO of Forrester Designs. Eric (John McCook) was stepping down from his role to spend more time relaxing. Two legitimate contenders for the job were noted to be Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Rick (Jacob Young).

Ridge couldn't draw anymore due to his fall into the Persian Gulf. With the help of Rick's wife Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), he was able to design. These sessions included Caroline and Ridge kissing, which horrified everyone. Maya (Karla Mosley) shared the news in front of the entire board. Eric decided to take the position away from Ridge and give it to Rick. While nursing his wounds, Rick slept with Maya, and later agreed to be the CEO. It looks like he is out for blood and trying to make his wife and brother suffer.

  1. Poor Thorne, he's another of Eric's sons and he wasn't even considered for the big job. He wasn't even mentioned and no explanation was given as to why he didn't attend the meeting. (The same could be said for Ridge's kids.)
  2. It was interesting that all of these problems happened because Ridge and Caroline kissed. They didn't have sex, they just locked lips. At least this doesn't mean Caroline could be pregnant with Ridge's kid while married to Rick.
  3. Since Rick slept with Maya, maybe she'll be pregnant and Caroline was still presumably sleeping with Rick, we could have two women both pregnant with the same man's kid. Please no...
  4. Rick going after everyone who lied or betrayed him could be fun as it has been a long time since there has been a good revenge story on B&B.
  5. I'm hoping that Eric isn't gone fishing for too long and that Brooke is back in the picture soon. Brooke would have an opinion about her daughter-in-law kissing Ridge, the father of her youngest child RJ.
  6. Having Rick and Caroline being compared to Stephanie and Eric was like a clanging bell as one of their marriages was destroyed by Brooke.
So that's my top six major random thoughts on this story, that I've been enjoying very much as of late. I hope it continues in a fun way.
