B&B: Middle East Remote Ripples

The Middle Eastern remote caused a lot of ripples in the canvas at "The Bold and the Beautiful". Below is a summary of what has happened with the story so far.

Brooke and Bill were in the middle of a wedding ceremony when Ridge crashed the event. He kidnapped Brooke, which was rather amusing as I can't believe Brooke didn't fight him. Ridge didn't handcuff her to him, and if she went on the ground or pinched his hand he may have let her go. He brought her to a helicopter, and before he was strapped in fell out of it. Justin was piloting the helicopter and dropped him into the water. Ridge has yet to be found, but the bulk of the blame for Ridge's disappearance is on Quinn. Quinn sent Ridge a "selfie" of her in bed with Bill, which fueled Ridge to go to the Middle East. 

Quinn's behavior also made Hope decide to dump Wyatt. Ridge was a father to Hope, when her own father had no interest. Wyatt proposed and she told him no though she hopes he'll be in her life as her brother-in-law. That was harsh, as who wants to be reminded that they lost the person they loved to their brother. Hope felt that Quinn was too close to his mother, and was unwilling to deal with the the possibility of such a monster-in-law. With Liam, Hope would only have one frustrating in-law in Bill and not two. Quinn also lost her job at Forrester. While lamenting her fate at the Bikini, she met Deacon.

We'll see if Deacon and Quinn become a dynamic dastardly duo, who plot together. I hope they will, or will Quinn do her best to ruin Hope and Liam again, by offering herself to yet another Spencer man. Of course, a part of me sees these characters as their General Hospital counterparts: if Liam gets involved with Quinn, he'll be sleeping with his half-brother's ex-wife or if she sleeps with Deacon, her ex-husband's cousin. Yes, I think of Dillon, Lois and AJ, and I don't apologize though it is a little odd.
