Y&R: Six Random Thoughts

Just doing another random thoughts post about "The Young and the Restless". These are just my opinions and are subject to change.

1. Is it just me or the whole idea that Katherine gave Chancellor to Victor a bit daft? I'm hoping a reversal of fortune happens soon as Victor has way too many good things right now. Perhaps this Nikki/Dylan thing will cause strife for his marriage.

2. Adam is the hit-and-run driver. This isn't surprising, but I would rather have been someone else just because it was too predictable.

3. I wish Victoria would mention how she lost a child years ago. While it isn't the same as Delia was much older the parallel would be appreciated.

4. It was great to see Ashley back with her family for Delia's funeral, though we didn't really get to see her funeral. Did they think it would be too upsetting for the audience?

5. Neil giving a job to Hilary after what she did to him and the family makes him seem way too nice. Yes it was wrong for him to go on a drunken bender and not realize her mother Rose died, but it isn't his job to fix the woman.

6. Was it just me or was Nikki's choice of Avery as an attorney extremely selfish? If Avery had saw Nikki's paperwork accidentally and was screwed it may have been more interesting. Instead it made Nikki look kind of awful.
