OLTL: Thoughts on Episode 10

Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode ten (May 14, 2013) of One Life to Live.

Natalie is at Shelter and Cutter watches her enter. They go to to the bar to have drinks. Natalie is introduced to Nikki, the drink has syrup, red bull and scotch. Rama makes some comments about Cutter and his charms. Blair tells Cutter that this isn't exactly what she envisioned for Shelter, but Cutter says they have customers. Blair tells Natalie that she is paying Cutter and praying that nothing goes wrong. Blair and Natalie catch up about Starr and mention how Liam is 3. Rama won't give a girl a drink due to her age. She talks to Blair and Natalie and Blair says she won't be drinking here until she is 21 even if she gets a job as a singer. (They don't reference her name on the show, but it is Dusky).  Nikki tells Cutter that Blair pays her bills even if Cutter got her the job. Dusky sings a song that may be called "White girl wasted", though it isn't said on screen.

Jeffrey, Dani and Matthew discuss Dani's crazy family ties including Victor, Todd and Ross. They start drinking if the term dad or father is used. The guys are playing quarters. They end up playing truth or dare with picking things out of a hat. Dani has to take off her shirt, and then says to Matthew it isn't like you haven't seen this before you are a dad. Then Jeffrey also says dad so they drink. Matthew has to take off his pants. Jeffrey also has to take off his shirt. They are all now in their underwear. Matthew picks a sheet that just says kiss, and Matthew kisses Dani. Then he says game over and Dani says this is a no kissing zone. Jeffrey drinks again.

Victor comes to Todd to make a truce once and for all. Tea is alone and remembers being with Victor and then breaks down again. They toast to brothers, to family. Todd is unhappy that Victor tells him that he is leaving again. Todd gets extremely angry and said he was lying. Victor admits to putting arsenic in Todd's scotch and then starts choking him again. Tea finds the decapitated giraffe. We see Todd blanking odd as Victor chokes him. Victor then says he hopes Todd burns in hell. He walks out of the hotel room.  Jack walks in and finds Todd on the ground, he yells call 911 and says hurry.

General thoughts about this episode:

During the Jeffrey, Dani and Matthew scenes there was a line about how Drew was in the next room. I hope that the little boy is looked after as they are all very drunk. Then again maybe Destiny will find them all drunk or hungover and have a fit. I liked that Blair and Natalie chatted as while they aren't blood related they do have family in common as Blair's children are cousins with Natalie. I wonder if everyone will end up at the hospital again due to Todd being strangled. This was the first episode with JWoww as Nikki and Dusky played by Jessie Malakouti.
