GH: Goodbye to the Llanview Three
Thursday, March 20, 2013 was the last day the so-called Llanview three appeared on General Hospital. This is a quick write-up about their departures.
Starr (Kristen Alderson) got a phone call from Langston telling her that she needed to go to Los Angeles. We weren't given any additional information. Michael (Chad Duell) wanted to go with her, but she said no. Her father Todd (Roger Howarth) stopped by with news of his own that he needed to go back to Llanview due to a phone call from Dani. Todd had tried to make a go with Carly (Laura Wright), but she stayed strong and said no to continuing their romantic relationship. With Michael's urging, Starr took her father's offer and allowed him to fly her back to California.
Meanwhile, John McBain (Michael Easton) was visited by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). She had orders for him to report to Quantico and was told to look for a replacement on the Port Charles Police Department. John told Anna to look out for Rafe (Jimmy Deshler). He also shared that his relationship with Sam (Kelly Monaco) had ended. Anna had no idea how long John would be away, and couldn't give him any details about his new case. While these scenes were going on, Carly and Sam confided in one another at the Floating Rib, as they were both alone. That said this behavior doesn't mean they are now friends.
While General Hospital wrapped up Starr, John and Todd's story for now, we still don't know exactly what is going on with the actors. Currently they cannot appear on General Hospital due to Prospect Park owning the rights to these characters originally from One Life to Live. Roger Howarth has been taping at One Life to Live as Todd in Connecticut, so at least for now that character's story is continuing starting on April 29. The question of course, is what will happen next, will GH bring these actors back as new characters or will they be able to return to Port Charles as their original characters. Hopefully decisions will be made so we aren't left wondering and waiting for too much longer.
