B&B: Most Shocking Moments DVD Disc 1 Part 1

This is my summary of the first four episodes on the set available from amazon.com entitled "The Bold and the Beautiful -- Most Shocking Moments", which has 15 episodes over two disks.

Episode One: Number 4156 (US airdate October 21, 2003)

In this episode, Ridge (Ronn Moss) is reunited with his family as he was presumed dead. They are leaving a rainforest and the group is waiting in the plane. Nick (Jack Wagner) and Massimo (Joe Mascolo) are thrilled to find out their respective half-brother and son is alive. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) is relieved as well, and for once reaches out to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). When Ridge mentions how he and Brooke can now have children together, you see a look of guilt on her face, along with a look of surprise from Nick.

Back in LA, Sally (Darlene Connely) is in her daughter Macy's (Bobbie Eakes) bedside. Darla (Shae Harrison) comes to see her causing awkwardness and Sally mentions how Ozzy (Brian Gaskill) is still going to open the club. Macy was injured at the club, and the chandelier ultimately caused her to lose her life. Bridget (Jennifer Finnigan) is with Deacon (Sean Kanan) and they throw Amber (Adrienne Franz) out of Deacon's house as it would be confusing to Deacon's son. Amber is devastated, she can't be near little Eric as she did have visitation as the child was her late cousin Becky's son. She goes back to Ozzy who wants her to do PR for his new club. He makes her feel better about herself.

Episodes Two & Three: Numbers 4361 & 4362 (US airdate August 10-11, 2004)

In these two episodes, Eric (John McCook) chooses Ridge to run Forrester Enterprises over Thorne (Windsor Harmon). Thorne loses it as he doesn't want to have to be Ridge's underling. The fact that Ridge is only Eric's stepson makes Thorne even more frustrated as he has been taken for granted by everyone. Eric told the men in front of Stephanie, Ridge's wife Brooke, and Thorne's wife Darla. They go to the office it is planned for Thorne to take and he trashes the place. Thorne leaves and goes home to Alexandria (who is off screen), who is being babysat by Sally. Sally is there for Thorne and he admits that she's been a better mother to him than his own. He doesn't want to cry on her shoulder. Sally tells him that he's a Spectra now. Darla who stayed behind is on her husband's side listened to the others talk. When alone, Stephanie admits to Eric that perhaps they did the wrong thing with their sons.

Caitlin (Kayla Ewell) and Rick (Justin Torkildsen) like each other, and while they were flirting Amber was listening in and confronted Rick after Caitlin left the room. Rick tells Amber that she is not good enough for him after she taunted him, while Thomas (Drew Tyler Bell) was watching them. Thomas went to comfort Amber. He bought her a necklace, which she wouldn't accept. He went to her bedroom and they began kissing as the scene faded to black.

Nick and Felicia (Colleen Dion) are together on his boat. He confronts her about all the drugs she has in a purse. She goes on deck, while he calls a medic asking him about the pills. He gets a phone call about what they are for, though in this episode it is not revealed they are due to an illness. They also fool around and flirt and she ties up his hands. Felicia was the wild one of her family as she was ignored and sent to boarding school instead of being allowed to stay at home.

Episode Four: Number 4544 (US airdate May 3, 2005)

Taylor (Hunter Tylo) came back from the dead. On a prior episode, Thorne and Nick helped him to dig up Taylor's grave, and they left him alone. Thorne went back to the mansion and told Stephanie and Eric what happened. They were upset, but Thorne felt that if it gave Ridge closure this was a good thing. On Nick's boat, Nick explained to Bridget (Ashley Jones) where he had been. Bridget realized how Ridge would have done just about anything to have more time with Taylor. Ridge was stunned or since this is a shocking moments DVD, shocked by seeing that Taylor was alive. She died in his arms, but since she wasn't on machines, she was really in a deep coma. Prince Omar's men had taken her back to his homeland and she was not awake for a very long time. Ridge was so disbelieving she had to keep checking that it wasn't a dream. They spoke about how she would be reunited with their kids.

That's my summary of the first four of 15 episodes on the DVD set. I wish they had older episodes in the collection, but I appreciated that the Spectra characters were included in this set. The first episode had the original opening credit style. The others had the version that started with a magazine. There was one with just the logo, one with the cast photos with the actors/characters names and another that had just the character names.
